Over and above trying to make your site look good you also have to incorporate web development methods to give it functionality and purpose. Without the right coding in your site there is very little it will be able to do other than appear as a static page where the only thing your visitors can do is read. They won’t be able to interact properly with your site and if they don’t particularly feel like reading, they are going to leave your site within a heartbeat. You are not going to get the traffic you want, because the search ranking formulas have changed to include usability and relevance as part of determining how well your site should rank for any given search. The trick though is that you have to be able to develop a site that keeps all of these things in mind while the coding is being done.
