Some Side Effects That Vitamin C May  Cause  When You Take It

Everyone knows that vitamin C has many roles: forming the gamma globulin of the body, enhancing resistance to infection, involving in biological oxidation-reduction process and detoxification process, improving myocardial metabolism to increase contractility, and promoting the formation of collagen fibers to make wound healing.

As the roles of vitamin are in a wide range, the abuse of it is far more serious. Someone mistakenly believes that there is harmless no matter how much vitamin C to take in, because it can prevent and cure disease. Although the toxicity of vitamin C is very small, overdose may trigger some adverse reactions in a long-term.

Here are some side effects which are triggered by overdose taking of vitamin C.
Large doses of vitamin C can be transformed into oxalic acid, which will significantly increase the excretion of oxalate or uric acid in urinary to develop kidney stones.
