Because of our current economy it is easy to understand why some people conduct their day to day life without the proper insurance, hoping for no surprises. There can be many reasons why this is so and not really the fault of those who would like the proper insurance for them and their family. Job lay offs make badly needed insurance coverage out of reach. Dead end jobs offer no affordable answers for some who can never have the peace of mind that proper insurance brings.
Many people without health insurance usually wait until they desperately need to see a doctor before going. The health issue by this time could cause serious issues or not able to be treated effectively. They simply cannot afford to see a doctor when they should.
