Hiking in Sicily A World Apart: Bredeson Outdoor Adventures Announces May 15 - 24, 2010 Trip

Norwalk, CT, January 13, 2010 -- Bredeson Outdoor Adventures, a U.S.-based outfitter providing four season trips in Europe and New England, is announcing a guided hiking trip in Sicily, a world apart, from May 15 - 24, 2010. Fortified cities, the remote Madonie Mountains, the beautiful Aeolian Islands, fabulous food, local vintages, Greek theatres and volcanoes are just some of the highlights of this active adventure with creature comforts. The guide is a native Sicilian, who generously shares her extensive knowledge of and passion for her home. On this cultural hiking journey adventurers will visit Segesta Archaeological Park en route to the enchanting, mountaintop medieval city of Erice, the first base. From Erice they'll set out to walk in the lovely Zingaro Nature Preserve.
