Archaeologists claim that thesettlements on Castle Rock, overlooking at the center ofEdinburgh in the UK , had existed three thousand years ago. And it isnot surprising: the monolith of 133 meters of volcanicorigin with three steep slopes is a great natural fortification, upto which one could climb only from one side – from east.
