Texas Cell Phone Driving - A Big State With Small Laws

Everything is bigger is in Texas, including the risk on the road. Texas is the second most populated state, though its cell phone driving laws are falling behind. There a no state wide cell phone or text messaging laws, just some very particular restrictions. These restrictions include;

-No cell phone use for bus drivers carrying children under the age of 17
-No cell phone use in designated school zones
-No cell phone use for new drivers within the first six months of receiving their license
-No cell phone use for teenagers under the age of 17
-Exceptions are in place for emergency use

Texas cell phone laws are really just restrictions. It is unlikely that you would actually receive a fine for breaking any of these rules.
