Obviously, a specialist should have completed the necessary course, board exams and certifications to be able to practice. Aside from these mandatory points however, you should also look for someone who has a record of continuing education and extensive professional experience and recognition in that particular field.
It is never too hard to find a dentist with all the correct licenses and education. This is obviously because the lack of these basic standards would mean that an individual is not legally permitted to conduct dental procedures.
