Math Standards Addressed in New Videos

Manhattan based TutaPoint.com is launching a series of short math lessons focusing on core national standards.

Aligned to the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) standards, the math lessons are concisely written to efficiently address core concepts that are the foundation of learning and understanding math.

On topics such as converting fractions to decimals, the lessons run about 10 minutes. “These mini lessons are designed to cover a small chunk of material that a student has been previously taught but might need some extra review in, “says TutaPoint.com Executive Director, Margaret Mary Wilson. “We have identified over 160 skills that correlate with NCTM Standards for these lessons.”

Initially the lessons are being licensed to institutions, such as virtual and traditional school systems where they are being integrated into the traditional curriculum. One school district will be linking references to these core...Read More >>
