Sportsmen realise they will not become the best without an enthusiastic coach behind them. It’s the coach’s job to get the best out of everyone. They do this by setting up new and innovative training sessions to test and improve players’ abilities as well as to prepare them mentally and physically for the game ahead. Coaches have to understand that they are responsible for the health and safety of all competitors during training sessions and competitions. This means that sports coaches have to be aware of what is going on around them to minimise the risk of someone getting injured or worse.
