Why spam is harmful?

Spam which can also be called junk mail is the most controversial byproduct which has made the internet overwhelmed. So spam is harmful and dangerous for internet. But why spam is harmful? Here I will list out the harm which spams bring to us: 1.    It occupies network bandwidth which causes the mail server congestion, thereby reducing the efficiency of the entire network operation. These will make the speed of the internet much slower and affect our study and work. 2.    It infringes the privacy of the addressee, invades their mailbox space and waste their time, energy and money. Some junk mails also steal other people’s email addresses to be mail addresses which damage their prestige seriously. 3.    It is be used by hacker easily which become a tool to help a tyrant to do evil.
