The History of Entertainment Social Sites. How it began...

Aspiring Faces, the direct predecessor of the current ArtistWatch.tv website, was conceived in 1997 by ArtistWatch.tv founder Joe Mendoza and his son, Kris Anthony Mendoza . The site was one of the very first actor and model resume posting and industry support websites. (It was not until 2006 that IMDB announced that it would create a resume posting area to its Movie Database Website). Membership was available to anyone aspiring to the acting and modeling fields of entertainment. Thus, the name, Aspiring Faces. The information and support services found on the website were instrumental in helping thousands of members launch successful careers in acting and modeling. Aspiring Faces provided its members with ongoing, updated information about how to get into the acting and modeling industries.
