VABION Chief Scientist to Speak on Chemo Brain

Richmond, VA based VABION LLC, (VABION)

VABION LLC (VABION) announced today that VABION chief executive and chief scientist Susan Hardwicke, Ph.D., will present a workshop titled “Chemo Brain and Recovery” at the 2009 Virginia Blue Ridge Blood Cancer Conference on June 5, 2009, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Created and presented by the Virginia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the conference is an annual event for blood cancer patients, survivors, parents, caregivers, oncology nurses, and social workers. Dr. Hardwicke is a Stage III breast cancer survivor whose experience in recovering from chemo brain inspired the creation of a program designed to help survivors and professionals.
