In today’s progressive times, it is shocking to know that child abuse is spreading like wild fire world over. Children considered as representatives of God on Earth, are often subjected to brutality, impatience, carelessness and ignorance and end up paying a hefty price for being born in a fast-paced, poor- valued, modern world.

Since there is a very thin line between disciplining and ill-treating, many parents, knowingly and unknowingly often set their children up for the latter. Convulsive family environment, strained child-parent relationships, abusive childhoods etc. adversely affect both the wellbeing as well as mental development of a child. While beating bruises may still heal, a scarred childhood can have a lot more devastating consequence.
