The reason for these two factors is simple. Altinkum  is still in the process of being developed. Once fully established then prices will increase in line with the other resorts. Altinkum is a small resort on the Aegean coast of Turkey. It can be easily accessed via Bodrum airport within an hour or Izmir airport within an hour and a half. Some locals will refer to the area by its older name Didim, as Altinkum is just a small part of the resort.
