China Unicom’s H1 Net Profit fell 42.1% hoped to turn around by selling iPhone

“Acually,our company’s restructuring,fiercer and fiercer competition in mobile telecomunication service do results in this falling profit,but we still insist on new telecom service and new products. ”said Chang Xiaobing,the chairman of China Unicom. In early days,China Unicom,the second largest telecom operator in China,is reported that its net profit in the first half fell 42.1 percent year on year to tatal 6.62 billion yuan(about 973.5 million U.S.dollar) under international accounting rules. And according to a statement from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, China Unicom's revenue stood at 76.32 billion yuan in the first half and earnings per share were 0.28 yuan. In order to turn around the falling profit, China Unicom stated that they would focus on enhancing their mobile communication service in the second half to make more efforts to optimize the Third Generation Service(3G)...Read More >>
