A review on GismoTel, a hosted PBX provider

As you may have noticed, many communications service providers offering hosted PBX services are targeting SMEs (small and medium enterprises). It is surprising to see that GismoTel.com (www.gismotel.com) also aims to provide service to a “consumer”. This is easily noticeable on the site’s opening or home page.

It would appear that the services being offered to consumers are: Pay-as-you-go / calling plans, Softphone, Global DID numbers, SmartPhone / mobile phone (Fring).

No-cost worldwide internet telephony. This is what this service is all about. Apparently, subscribing to the service is free with an existing VoIP account to GismoTel. Besides this benefit, the consumer can also make free IP-to-IP calls to any GismoTel subscriber anywhere in the world. Will also have free GismoTel SIP number and free GismoTel Softphone application.
