No Win No Charge Attorneys Take on Major Organization

Many different firms, including Ford, Asda and Argos have joined forces to condemn the problem of what they term 'ambulance-chasing lawyers'.The firms, who are led by the Association of British Insurers (ABI), state that they will be fighting back following a 72% rise in the amount of bodily injury claims which have been received by insurers since 2002 and that the increase, or a large percentage of it, is able to be traced back to claims management companies which send texts urging potential customers to attempt to pursue claims against companies or insurers.The ABI says that too many injury claims are now 'spurious and exaggerated' and therefore organisations such as the NHS face losing millions of pounds every year.
