WHY MEXICANS THINK & BEHAVE THE WAY THEY DO!

The cultural myopia that afflicts mainstream Americans is no where better demonstrated than in our relationships with Mexico—marked by studied ignorance and arrogance that has led to war and the confiscation of over half of the original territory of the country.

All this, notwithstanding the fact that Mexico’s traditional values and morals were forged in a caldron of corruption, racism, male chauvinism and an elitist political system that connived with the Catholic Church to keep ordinary people ignorant and powerless and deny them the most basic human rights for 400 years.
