Tummy tuck surgery also known as Abdominoplasty is a common procedure to reshape or to make the abdomen firm. This surgery mainly involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen in order to tighten the muscle and fascia of the abdominal wall.   Tummy tuck surgery is of two types. Mini-tummy tuck surgery and Full-tummy tuck surgery. The basic procedure for both follows almost similar path but the main difference comes in timing. Mini-tummy tuck surgery takes around 1 to 2 hours whereas Full-tummy tuck surgery takes around 3 to 5 hours for its complete treatment.   The basic procedures for Mini-tummy tuck surgery proceeds with making of a smaller incision.
