MILGRAM HELPS SCHOOL STUDENTS ON FINANCIAL PLANNING

( Westlake Village , CA )   Arkady Milgram, a financial strategist and special care planner with Walker Financial Partners in Westlake Village , CA , recently taught a series of saving and investing seminars for high school seniors as part of the Junior Achievement of Southern California’s financial literacy program called “Money & Me.”   Held at Moorpark College , some 250 students from five area high schools participated in the one-day event.   The program was created by Junior Achievement of Southern California and the Conejo Area Coordinating Team (ACT) to help young people understand and take charge of their finances early in life.    Research shows that the average college student graduates with $27,600 in debt, including up to $5,000 in credit card debt.     The conference featured sessions on credit, budgeting, and investment and savings; the latter of which Milgram presented during three of the nine...Read More >>
