International Information Security Consortium's idea came into existence after the initiation of Cyber War on the tragic 9/11. Its sole aim is to research, analyze, train and develop technology. The entire IT security industry's being is accidental. It is an object d'art of how the computer industry developed.
Soon after the attacks, the web was researched for "Information Security" programs that would provide the professionals with adequate tools and education that help avert a cyber war, if the need ever arise.
IISCon is a professional organization that certifies individuals in various information security skills. The IISCon (CISP) Certified Information Security Professional and many other upcoming programs will be offered in over twenty countries through a network of more than 250 training partners globally in a span of 5 years.
