Often people think to save money by doing their own house painting in Perth, but the job is not as easy as it may first appear. External painting may seem the easiest as you don’t have to move all the furniture out and cover up the floor with a plastic tarp, but there are other hard jobs associated with painting the outside walls.
For a start, the house painter Perth will have to prepare the surface properly or all their hard work of painting will be ruined when the paint peels off. So what has to be done? Much depends on the type of wall and the condition of the old paintwork on it.
At the least you will need to wash down the walls thoroughly before you start. You can do this with a power spray or with good old-fashioned bucket and brush. Sugar soap is the usual cleanser for pre-painting, but what you use may depend on what is on the walls.
