The advancement in the field of information technology with respect to healthcare is the reason behind paper records becoming outdated. This has lead to an invention of something that has become a very important part of technologies used in healthcare facilities. Electronic health records are healthcare software that aid in avoiding the problems faced in using paper records. This is quite evident to someone who’s visited more than one doctor and the associated medical records need to be transferred between them. Many times people don’t bother to bring the previous ones and fill the forms for the next one according to what comes in their mind. There can certain important information which the patient might forget like family illness. This will greatly affect the way doctor thinks about the diagnosis of the illness.
