In a country, by the end on the proverbial day, both energy utilities and people are finally keen on the technologies that generate a kilowatt of electricity most inexpensively, other considerations aside.Accordingly, all countries involved with solar power are optimists, but nascent industrial efforts to come up with power over a commercial scale on the sun are without exception structured on current government subsidies to enter this market, which can be plagued by optimism, the failure of U.S. federally subsidized company Solyndra being Exhibit A.But countries worldwide would like government support to shield their embryonic solar industries from market realities until conditions improve, and few countries will be more caught between realities from the "free market" and national priorities in developing energy alternatives than Israel, whose energy imports remain a significant topic of doubt to the government.
