At Mokaflor, when we decided to create an “ethic” blend we wanted it to be the best of all, creating a blend that was both organic and fair trade. To find good single origin coffee having both these important certifications was not easy at all.
The products that come from organic farming are obtained without any synthetic chemical substances and in the total respect for the environment. To adhere to such objectives organic farming has adopted techniques that respect natural ecological balances: the defence from the harmful insects is effected by means of an integrated fight with the employment of pollinators, the use of substances of mineral, vegetable, animal origin and of resistant plants; the fertility of the soil is maintained and strengthen with natural manure and correct agronomic practices.
