How did Middle East Recover From the Economic Recession of 2005-2009

The world experienced an economic recession in the year 2005 to 2009. The recession started when USA monetary institutions like Investment Banks and Hedge Funds encouraged people to borrow long term loans with high risk mortgage from the banks. The people rushed to take loans from the banks in hope to have enough time to pay it back with interest. The leadership and management could not estimate the loss it could have face if the borrowers failed to pay back their loans. It so happened that a formidable lent amount could not be retrieved from the borrowers on time. The banks ran short of reserved amount for cash withdrawal and went default. Seeing this condition a financial panic prevailed and people started withdrawing their money from banks. This aggravated the situation. The panic grew into recession and spread worldwide.
