By accident, HP DV2000 fell down and had deep kiss with the ground. Then the tragedy starts. Then I have to replace the broken DV2000 LCD screen .

First, to prepare essential tools
Small Flat screwdriver, Steady fingers, cleans cloth.

Preliminary action:
Remove the laptop battery.
Ground yourself and remove all static electricity from your body. Static electricity is harmful to your laptop.

Then you can start to replace the LCD screen.
A plastic bezel enclosure is currently securing your HP DV2000 in place. First, you need to find the small plastic pads or sometimes stickers which are covering the screws. There are usually four of these small covers, usually no more than 1cm. Once you have identified the covers, remove them. Set these aside for re-installation.
