Find out:
Why they are threatening you?
Do they want something from you? (In this case, if what they want is something which you can give them, it would be advised to do so. You can never know how desperate they are, and it makes no sense to be killed over the contents of your wallet).
Who is the leader of the group? If it comes down to you against them, they will probably be your first target
What is the area you are in like? Are you under CCTV surveillance? This will strongly affect the actions you use to deal with the situation.
