A customer database is a technology used for the collection and analysis of customer data as part of a CRM (customer relationship database) marketing program. This type of database is specially developed to store important information of your customers such as name, address, birthday, email address, what they purchased and when they bought from you. By setting up a CRM database, product managers are able to pinpoint which customers purchase more than others.
