Chrysanthemum tea is a traditional Chinese herbal tea. It is a flower-based tisane made from chrysanthemum flowers of the species Chrysanthemum morifolium or Chrysanthemum indicum, which are most popular in East Asia.
Several varieties of chrysanthemum, ranging from white to pale or bright yellow in color, are used for tea. There are many kinds of chrysanthemum, many people choose fair and large flower of chrysanthemum to drink. Actually, the small, ugly and yellowing chrysanthemum is the best choice. Chrysanthemum tea is a tea without tea leaf but only put dry chrysanthemum into bubble or boiled water to drink.
