Game company attempts to raise $ 1 Billion dollars to save the world.

SaveThisPlace.com, designed by well-known author and entrepreneur Lauren Elliott, co-creator of the world famous  ‘Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego’ game series, is matching the current demand for LBS - location based games with a fun way to do something good at the same time. Players take their cell phones to places that they want to own, take a photo and send it in to the site.  If no one else owns it, they can purchase the land for $1 - proceeds go to organizations as The American Red Cross, and Room to Read.
