 Before starting this project, you need to consider the location for the house, the size of the dog, the dog house plans , and acquiring the needed tools and materials for the project. When planning the project, you need to consider the location. The spot needs to be somewhat level. You need to also consider the climate in your area. Do not place the doghouse in a location where water will stand in or around it. You need to take the snow and winter wind into consideration when choosing a location. The second step is to consider the size of your dog. You do not want to build it and then notice it is too small. You also do not want to oversize the house. In the winter, the dog's body heat is what helps to heat the house. If the dog is small and the dog house is large, the dog can not heat the area.
