Bert-Co Seeks the Printing Industrys Most Prestigious Award: The Benny

Los Angeles, CA – July 15, 2009 - Bert-Co, a key manufacturer of folding cartons, point-of-purchase materials and specialty packaging has received 23 awards for this year’s Print Excellence competition sponsored by PIASC (Printing Industries Association of Southern California). Seven awards received ‘Best of Category’ and for the first time in the 70 plus years in the business, they received their first Judges Award for I Dream of Jeannie DVD Complete Box Set.

I Dream of Jeannie also received the ‘Best Of’ award in the category Specialty Printing. The package includes a rigid “genie” bottle with top, collector cards with card holder carton, outer and inner PVC cases. The bottle rigid set-up style opens from the sides, enabling the Caddy-Pak™ (DVD filing) system to slide out; Caddy-Pak™ is Bert-Co’s packaging system that reduces package size when housing multiple DVDs, usually more than 5.
