Basonas Construction Corp puts final touches on Pre-War Building on Carnegie Hill

Basonas Construction Corp based out of Brooklyn , NY has finalized the restoration of 1150 Park Avenue , New York City to its Pre-War glory. Using the latest tools and expertise, this buildings exterior was restored to its former elegance. This very pleasant, 19-story apartment building was erected in 1940 and was converted to a cooperative. The building was designed by George F. Pelham jr., and his red-brick designs nicely complement the neighborhood Presbyterian Church. “We had plenty of work that had to be done, but we completed the project in a timely manner and to the proprietor’s specifications”, says Michael Brion, vice president of Basonas Construction Corporation. Extensive masonry restoration was performed including parapet replacement, window lintel replacement and brick pointing.
