Bapatla agriculture college , is the second oldest agriculture college in Bapatla . Established in 1945 (affiliated to Andhra University at that time), it offers various courses in agriculture including Ph.D. programme. Last year, B-Tech in Food Science was also introduced. The college is currently affiliated to the Acharya N.G Ranga Agriculture University, has produced several eminent personalities over the years.

The batch of students graduating from the Bapatla Agricultural College in 1970 is special, because 1970 was the “Silver Jubilee Year” of the college. The 1970 batch distinguished itself with several graduates achieving prominence such as Mr Alfred Oliver, Executive Secretary, All India Christian Council; Mr P.
