Visa Survey: China will Lead Online Shopping Trend in Asia-Pacific Region

Report from Sina.com, according to the survey results of "Visa e-commerce consumption monitoring”, the internet users in the Asia-pacific region are still fond of online shopping. About 89 percent of the respondents said that they have done online shopping in the past 12 months, and 83 per cent of respondents said they will continue to use electronic payment cards to do online shopping.   In the six surveyed countries, South Korea (97%), China (94%), Japan (94%) and Australia (89%) account a relatively high proportion on online shopping. Following the trend of the last quarter, the number of Asia-pacific consumers who online buy products from oversea websites continues to grow. The survey found that about one-third (39%) of the Asia-pacific respondents had online shopping from overseas websites.
