Though the medical care and facilities have reached new heights, pediatric surgery has always posed challenges to doctors. Oyster & Pearl hospital has taken up this challenge in the
department of Pediatrics to provide enhanced Newborn Intensive Care.
In the year September 2008, Oyster & Pearl hospital for Women and Children came into existence. This brain child of Dr. Avinash Phadnis and Dr.Amita Phadnis was born out of Shree Clinic. Other specialties were gradually started by the end of year 2009. The new departments of Urology and Nephrology were introduced by the year 2010. Later on in December 2010 a new healthcare facility Oyster & Pearl Tulip which specialized in Women and Children care was established at Senapati Bapat Road.
Located in Pune, Oyster & Pearl offers health care facilities in departments like Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Breast Care, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Pediatrics and Neonatology, Urology, Nephrology and more.
