Understanding Locksmith and his work

Locksmith is one of the oldest professions in the world. Today, it has come a long way and the modern technology has a lot to do with this. Earlier, locks and doors used to be very simple. But today, they are very complex and detailed. As a result, the profession of locksmith  has undergone a sea change. The profession of a locksmith is much older than we imagine. The oldest lock found so far is more than 4000 years old and was from Egypt. But since then, the work and skills of a locksmith have become very different. In earlier times, a Locksmith was a person who used to make simple locks out of stone to protect huge doors of palaces and temples.
