In terms of geneticses , research has designated that the disorder tends to run in families. You may also be at a higher risk if your family has a history of major depression, suicidality, or psychosis. Recent studies into brain construction have indicated that issues with the brain's self-communication system (such as the corpus callosum) may be mixed up in disorder.In uncommon cases, the patient may go through a mixed affectional episode which is in theory a state during which symptoms of mania and those of slump occur at the same time. The patient role may get teary during a manic episode or have a torrent of racing thoughts during a depressive episode.
