How to use refrigerator to store food correctly

Refrigerator is used for store and fresh keeping food frequently in summer. But do you know how to use refrigerator to store food correctly. Here I will give you a brief introduction of how to use refrigerator to store food correctly as follows:

Meat

Wash fresh meat with warm water, and cut into pieces and put in plastic bags. If short-term preservation, you can store them in cold storage, for long-term storage, put in the freezer in -18℃

Eggs

The appropriate temperature to store eggs is 2-5℃, so eggs can be stored in the refrigerator for cold storage about two weeks. Don't put them in freezer.

Poultry

Responding to poultry, you must remove the viscera pre-storage, wash it clearly, dry and put fine salt, finally put it in a plastic bag. Generally, it’s better to store a whole poultry. It will fresh keeping 1-2 days in 0℃ cold storage and two months in freezer in -18℃.

Fish

Pre-storage, you should remove scales, gills and the viscera, wash clearly, dry, and salt the fish, finally put it into a plastic bag. It can be stored in the refrigerator for cold storage about 1-2 days and for long-term storage about 1 month, put in the freezer.

Shrimp

Shrimp, as eat within one day, wash and put into a plastic bag and store in cold storage. Long-term storage about 1 month must be cooked shrimp stored in freezer to freeze.

Vegetables

Vegetables should be stored in cold storage in 0-10℃ before wash and dry the water into plastic bags and tight the bags.

Milk

Milk can be stored in 1-2 day in 0-2℃. After disinfection, the milk in the emulsion can be stored in 5-6 days in 2℃.. Milk can’t be stored in freezer. Because freezing will badly affect the quality and nutritional value of milk.
